Cam Ward's statistics are off slightly for January, and he did have a rough night against Columbus, but he has also had some strong efforts. Do you think?

Go Canes!
A couple questions in the poll that need comments on…
My biggest concern THAT HASN’T BEEN MENTIONED…IS…
what happens if WARDO GETS INJURED?
AND …does anyone really believe he can play every game?
1st- if Peters tries to play him every game… THEN…it’s likely he gets hurt…AND near certain he is ineffective!
My best guess is Leighton would be the best option to play a few games…BUT if he sits and ROTS ON THE BENCH… then he (nor anyone else) will have a fair chance to perform well…?!!
I think Cam is still playing well, rough night in Columbus aside. He was great last night even allowing four goals – he had no chance on any of them and made multiple fantastic saves. I would like to see the Canes pick up a legitimate backup goalie that can give us strong play every 4 or 5 games and lighten Cam’s load in preparation for the PLAYOFFS 😀
