If you were away from the NHL this weekend, the NHL draft occurred on Friday and Saturday. The Hurricanes had a fairly quiet draft in the sense that they did not make any trades. Nonetheless, it was a big weekend for the future of the team as Ron Francis beat the average increase in prospect pool with extra first, third and third round selections.
This week’s Canes Chronicle features stories from around the internet on the 6 players selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the first 6 rounds.
I created individual posts for each of the players ‘reading lists.’ The first number is the total number of article links, and the second is how many were added after the original post. (I added a couple more links after initial publication for some players.)
IF YOU HAVE HAPPENED UPON ANY GREAT ARTICLES ON ANY OF THESE 6 CANES DRAFTEES, PLEASE SHARE BY SENDING A QUICK EMAIL OR PINGING CandC ON TWITTER.
Here are the links to the individual player pages with the article links.
