Max Zimmer was the Hurricanes fourth-round selection in the 2016 NHL draft. Zimmer is a forward who played for the Chicago Steel in USHL in 2015-16 and who is scheduled to join the University of Wisconsin men’s hockey team for the 2015-16 season. In any profile or article about Zimmer, the word that consistently jumps to the forefront is “speed.” Zimmer is noted for his 2-way play and ability to use his speed and skating ability to make an impact playing a 200-foot game.
