Today’s Daily Cup of Joe suggests that a couple signings yesterday could pave the way for a Victor Rask re-signing as early as this weekend.

But that is expected and mostly just a matter of time. In terms of more exciting signings, the summer free agent hunting season for the NHL officially opens on Friday when the market for the NHL’s free agents opens up. Even with the fireworks that already happened yesterday in the trade market, there are still some big names to be won.
