Miscellaneous
Cane-alytics from Section 328 does a deep statistical dive on Hurricanes leader Jordan Staal.
Go Canes!
The previews for the Canes this year are pretty consistent, AND not nearly as optimistic as many of the local fans…!
I tend to agree with their analysis… which boils down to inadequate keepers, and a lack of prodigious scorers.
While I see some reason for FUTURE optimism, there’s a lot more hope and potential in the current roster, than visibly high level skill!
It is just the beginning of the 3rd year of a total rebuild. As a result we should be waiting for the young uns to blossom and be fruitful. The real question isn’t is the rebuild a failure, but can it yield a wild card slot this early in the process.
